Dot to Dot Teal Quilt

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I quilted this on my quilt frame - something I've had a love/hate relationship with. But this time, I had a blast, it co-operated and the designs were so fun and easy to quilt. I had some challenges quilting down the side borders with my limited space but I managed to go back and forth advancing the quilt and got it done! What advice would you give someone starting this project? I love Angela's advice: close enough is good enough! I kept that in mind as I made TONS of mistakes (don't tell!) and just kept going. Things are waaaay better than they were and I'm improving. I love the texture the designs produced and I'm really happy with how the quilt turned out - especially the border!

Hi! Thanks, Scheri! It's call (ug!) 'Not Manly Enough' and was in a Fast Fat-Quarter Quilts book. I wrote more details about it, on my blog, here:http://www.overthekitchencounter.com/over_the_kitchen_counter_/2013/08/teal-basketweave-quilt-top.html
