Disappearing Nine Patch Batik Quilt

What was your source for this quilting project? This was my first mitered corner border. Also, it was my first double border. I most proud of the border. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Choose a mix of fabrics that you love and don't be too methodical about arranging the squares. Have fun!

What you will need

  • Batik fabric (Timeless Treasures 5" squares
  • green tea colors)--4 packages--brown batik (for centers)
  • batting
  • backing-- Moda Marbles fabric (not shown.) Border is more of the brown batik and one of the colors from Timeless Treasures. The quilt top is 66" (w) by 78" (h)
