Dinosaur quilt

What are you most proud of? I hope this will bring comfort a child while in the hospital. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use panels whenever possible since it makes it an easy project that will stand up to repeated washings in the hospital. Check out Quiltsforkids.org to find free kits and information about this organization. I now deliver mine to a Florida quilt shop so I don't have to pay for the postage.

You Can Make This

Sandi W made Dinosaur quilt with:

  • This was a panel that I simply added a border to. Then I backed it in a colorful fabric
  • which was also used as the binding. This will go to Quilts for Kids in St. Petersburg. It's a wonderful organization if you want to do some charity quilts.

Q&A with Sandi W

Carol J Loria asked:
How do I get my hands on this fabric. I am becoming a Great Grandmother (Bisnonna) in May and my Grand Daughter want to decorate the room with Dinosaurs. Carol Loria (caroljloria@aol.com)
Sandi W answered:
I don't remember where I bought this. When we visit our boys in Texas, I stop at quilt shops all along the way and don't have a clue where I got this. If you go to the internet and type in children's panels, you'll get lots of choices. They are so quick and easy to do.
