What are you most proud of? Really proud of the beautiful fabrics! What advice would you give someone starting this project? The hardest part was cutting the big squares straight, then cutting those big squares on the diagonal to make the triangle patches. It was hard to keep the ruler from slipping because the diagonals are so long. Maybe it might be better to mark the diagonals with your 6x24 ruler and cut with scissors. This is my first project with mitered corners. The magazine has a How-To section in the back to guide you. Just be careful to line up and not stretch the border strips as you sew on the bias miters.
