Country Cats Mug Rug

Project Description

What was your source for this quilting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Black and White Cats Mug Rug Link to website or photo www.craftsy.com/pattern/quilting/home-decor/black-and-white-cats-mug-rug/40917 What are you most proud of? You can have city cat chasing mice or country cats watching fish. I love the contrast. What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you quilt in-the-ditch either side of the river is makes it stand slightly proud. I didn't quilt round the fish because I liked the effect of them floating on the water.

Q&A with The Patchsmith

K Lee 2Strings asked:
Once again, a darling pair of mug rugs! You just never run out of ideas, do you? lol
The Patchsmith answered:
I have so many ideas and not enough time. Choosing the fabrics always takes the longest time I find. Once I have decided upon the colour and fabric the rest goes together quickly.
wimwim asked:
Who can resist these adorable designs..not me.
The Patchsmith answered:
I am so glad you like my designs. I never know if they will be a hit but I enjoy making them and creating a pattern that is easy to follow. I can't wait to see your version.
Misty Quilts asked:
Very Cute my Daughter would love this ! wish there were more hours in a day fo me to sew. So many things I would love to make.
The Patchsmith answered:
I know exactly what you mean Misty.
Kj falco asked:
This something I would love to do. How do I begin?
The Patchsmith answered:
It is all detailed in the pattern. This project uses quick fuse applique (find out more on my blog) making this project quick and easy to do.
tobybox132475983 asked:
Well! I can see it but how do I get the download pattern?
The Patchsmith answered:
The pattern should be in your Craftsy library once you have purchased it and from there you click the 'download' button. I have a page on my blog (http://thepatchsmith.blogspot.co.uk/) - click the Mug Rug Basics tab at the top and you will find a page on 'Downloading from Craftsy'. If you need any further help then please don't hesitate to email me at thepatchsmith@gmail.com. Regards, Amanda
