I adapted a pattern from Christ's Watson's Piece and Quilt with Precuts, based on the size fabrics that I had in my stash. Christian's instruction is great, and she inspires us to expand and create from the skills we learn. Her beads on a string concept guided me to make these rows of curls on a string. I can't remember where I saw the option of crossing lines in feathers and C shapes, but it is a great way to loosen up and not stress about staying on the line and traveling everywhere. Traveling the previous stitch lines can be stressful, but choosing a technique and allowing variance is so freeing to enjoy the process of quilting!
