Project Description

What was your source for this quilting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Color wave Link to website or photo nancymahoney.com/magazinequilts.html Tell us more about what inspired you. F&P Love of Quilting, May/June 2011 What are you most proud of? My first applique project. Also, the pattern directions were very minimal, so I winged a lot of it. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have fun!

Q&A with Sue P.

CanadianQuilter asked:
Great stuff. I love this
Sue P. answered:
Thanks!
JulieAnne asked:
Love it! Is this raw edge applique? Also wondering what Magazine did you get this pattern from? I think I may have it! Looks familiar. Thanks for sharing! :o)
Sue P. answered:
Yes, it is raw edge, I did straight stitch around the edges of the circles as part of the quilting, but no zig zag or satin stitch, since it's strictly a wall quilt and won't be washed much. If you follow the link above, it should tell you the magazine. At one time, the pattern and (minimal) directions were on-line, but they're not anymore. (You could easily wing it just from the illustration.
