Q&A with Cottonmonkey

Maimie asked:
I love the ric-rac - TOO CUTE. I am going to try to make something similar for my niece. Thank you for posting.
Cottonmonkey answered:
Thanks for your comment. I wasn't sure about adding the ric rac but after it was sewn on, was glad I did it.
Augusta M. Door asked:
Very very nice! And can be made with scraps + sashing and backing.
Cottonmonkey answered:
Thanks! The pattern would work very well with scraps instead of charm squares.
DianneWA asked:
Your multiple rows of quilting in the sashes is incredibly impressive! It finishes the quilt wonderfully; great job!
Cottonmonkey answered:
Thank you! It was the first time I'd done multiple rows of quilting and I was apprehensive about doing it. I used a walking foot to help keep the fabric aligned.
ChristmasEv asked:
Love your quilt. You definately have a fan here! Love the colors, the quilting, and love the rick-rack! Thank you for sharing your quilt with us all!
Cottonmonkey answered:
Thanks for your kind words.
