What are you most proud of? I had never tried the backing-as-binding technique before, and I love it! It gave me a really flat base (great for table linens) and a very neat finish with no hand sewing! What advice would you give someone starting this project? 1. Keep your scraps in proportion to the finished quilt - some of my scraps were over 2.5" wide, and they don't look as good as the ones that were between 1"-2" wide. 2. Making 6 at once was a real time-saver - I could add 2 or 3 strips to each quilt, then go iron (no room for the iron in my craft room).
