Christmas runner

Project Description

What are you most proud of? This is my own design. I was inspired at first by the christmas tree fabric and wanted to use the trees then I found an old santa gift tag and made the pattern for the santa. The pattern is available in the craftsy pattern store. What advice would you give someone starting this project? You could piece the background with whatever light christmas coloured fabric to the size you want then add as many decorations as fit

What you will need

  • 100% cotton fabric and batting. Various threads

Q&A with Megan Byrne, Poet's Corner Quilts

patz in suffolk asked:
Brilliant! I love the Santas! (And I love the idea of your BBQ at Christmas - I'm green with envy as I sit here, shivering!). Merry Christmas to you!
Megan Byrne, Poet's Corner Quilts answered:
We had Christmas last year in Newfoundland and Labrador so we are looking forward to our BBQ in the sun! Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Jude3944 asked:
Oh This is so cute Do you have a pattern or a blog? My daughter would love this..
Megan Byrne, Poet's Corner Quilts answered:
I am in the proceeds of uploading it to the craftsy pattern site. Hopefully not long.
Aunt Sue asked:
Is this pattern still in the shop and if so, what is the name of it. I cannot find it.
Megan Byrne, Poet's Corner Quilts answered:
Hi Aunt Sue, yes the pattern is still in the craftsy pattern shop. Look for Santa table runner in the Poets Corner Quilts shop.
