Christmas Runner

Project Description

What are you most proud of? The fact I have been able to quilt the panel how I wanted - an echo of the shape and swirls. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just do it. I'm using a tight fitting pair of gloves to give purchase. It would be easier with the correct gloves and the Teflon slider but it is still fun and doable without them.

What you will need

  • Using a preprinted panel to make 3 separate runners as Christmas presents. This is the second project it have machine quilted ever (the first was in straight lines) and I can't quite believe I am FMQ - I'm so happy. It would be smoother with the Teflon slider - maybe next year.

Thank you. It is such fun and I love that I can see such an improvement over one runner.
coreychip asked:
It's really nice! I'm hoping to improve over time, and I'm making table runners from a preprinted panel, too!
Knitcave answered:
Practice helps and I shall get a Teflon sheet next year which will make it smoother. I do like the preprinted panel, it lets me try techniques without the seams.
