I love the back of the CHICKADEE quilt; and the front is pretty, too. I was wondering the size, and is this a quilt you would hang up or use? Do you have in mind, a way to make shams?
Chris29 answered:
60X60 inch I used flannel on the back for use in the winter ,there for the Holly leaf on it.......top was done 8 years ago lol. I did quilt but always had fold and bubble in it.THANKS to Ann it worked so well .
Ann Petersen asked:
Beautiful job on those leaves! You should be proud!
Chris29 answered:
Thanks ......
gaylewile4587411 asked:
was it hard to go back and finish? I have a problem. I don't have anyone to ask questions about quilting, because none of my friends don't quilt. But the problem is ME I have no confindence in myself. I am afraid to cut the material. I'm worried with failure.
Chris29 answered:
ohhh I bin there ....if you just like too try something go buy very low price fabric . take the R-cutter and go for it :) and to this day I have some fabric it is just too nice to cut into it. Look for a quilt guild the Girls are so helpful and most of the time they will do sewing lesions for less . Also you will 100% find one or two who have the some need confidence.
