Chevron Childs quilt

What are you most proud of? I was proud that I did not use a pattern and I thought it showcased the fabrics very well and the room looked great when finished with matching scatter cushions and matching Bunting all made by me What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't be afraid to use you own patterns it is not very hard all I did was measure how I wanted it to fit on the bed and what size block it wanted and them worked out how many blocks including sashing I needed to gain the size I needed

Q&A with Crafty Stitches

mimis quilts asked:
How great is that-what a lucky boy. I was so happy to see your wonderful colors as I am doing a dresden plate with bright red and white polka dots but am having some misgivings about the fabric but your quilt is so lovely and I am now feeling a bit better about my choice! The Bunting border is so fun too!
Crafty Stitches answered:
Hi Mimi, I am so glad you like it I had a lot of fun making all the different components for my grandson's room his Mum was very pleased with the results as well
