Project Description

What are you most proud of? I think this is the best quilt I have ever made. Tons of pieces-rather hard to match seams but I loved the finished product. What advice would you give someone starting this project? This is a rather rustic quilt in that you can't get the seams matched exactly-you have to be OK with that.

What you will need

  • Cotton fabric
  • Warm and Natural batting
  • cotton and embroidery thread
  • obsidian beads for eyes.

Q&A with Hemmed In

Tanya W. asked:
This is great! It is very cute and your quilting is superb too!
Hemmed In answered:
Thank-you Tanya. I took a class at Quilter's Paradise in Escondido, CA on an automated longarm-so I have to say the machine controlled the quilting I just directed the machine:)quilting
kayster asked:
I LOVE your quilt. Where did you get the pattern? kaye (at) hotmail (dot) com
Hemmed In answered:
The pattern is Crazy Cats from the book "Undeniably Crazy" by Buggy Barn. I couldn't find the book on their website but I didn't check Amazon-they do have a kit that is a reasonable price-hope that helps.
