Cat Quilt (as you go)

This is my first patchwork quilt. I combined a couple of different patterns and added extra width to the sashing to make a lap quilt instead of a cot quilt. It was probably a bit to challenging for my first quilt (don't look to close!) as I decided to adjust the sizes of the blocks. I pieced the blocks to larger sized batting before I realised that i wouldn't be able to square up the blocks before joining. So a few headaches, much hand-sewing and many unmatching seams I have a quilt that I love and that has been happily adopted by my household of cats.
