I watched my mother quilt when I was a child. All of my quilting has been by trial and error, with a few books and magazines along the way. I liked the classes here on Craftsy to learn new ideas, but I am not one who likes to follow others. I watch, try and then go on my own. I like www.about.com for searching things I would like to try and miscellaneous questions that I need answered. Quilting really isn't as hard as some books and sites make it out to be. Anything you mess up can be fixed, there are no mistakes....just happy accidents. Good luck on your new adventure and if you need help, don't hesitate to ask.
