Project

Brick Road

What are you most proud of? Finishing my first big quilt! I know it's not the typical quilt, but they were looking for a cover for their washer and drier, so I decided to piece the front, rather than just making a regular cover. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Things might look overwhelming, but tackle a little at a time. Try to focus only on the part you're working with at the moment, without thinking of the project as a whole. Also, having a deadline (Christmas) helped me because I wasn't able to put things off when something was difficult; I just had to keep on and deal with it! It was a good learning experience. :)

You Can Make This

Yiya Cucuy made Brick Road with:

  • Cotton fabric for the top
  • fleeced vinyl for the back.
