BOM - October Block 2

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I did it! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Fiddly but fun... give it a go!

Q&A with Pam NZ

HelenEliz asked:
I like what you've done. I had so much trouble with the other one that I hesitate to try this one.
Pam NZ answered:
Oh no, just jump right in! Just a wee bit fiddlier as there are more pieces involved. Not impossible tho, I made it after all and it hasn't put me off foundation piecing at all... can't wait to get stuck in to Peggy Martins class now! I do think that having watched some of her lessons tho, gave me a little more confidence to dive in.
patz in suffolk asked:
I look forward to doing this block in fear and trembling! However, you've made a very good job of it - hope I can do half as well!
Pam NZ answered:
Nah it was fun really... only a little pain and suffering involved LOL... *cracks whip* waiting to see yours now!
Darns asked:
You go, girl! Looking good! I also had a couple of senior moments when I didn't cover the area - got too familiar with the seam ripper
Pam NZ answered:
Ta muchly! Bit scary when one looks around the house and finds seam rippers in all my fav sitting possies tho LOL!
Pamillia asked:
Your block is beautiful & perfect. Have you decided on sashing or are you just going to wait & see what Amy comes up with? Thanks so much for sharing. :-)
Pam NZ answered:
Thanks Pamillia... cor blimey haven't got passed the relief of finishing this one yet LOL. Haven't got a clue as to sashing at this stage... wonder what treats Amy will have in store for us???
Ana Maria Perna asked:
What's DUH? ... Something like "don't undo hems?" Apart from that, very neat and precise. I like it very much
Pam NZ answered:
Thanks and yes something very much like that LOL... why do anything just once when you can do it at least twice, altho I did make it thru to the final quarter before putting myself thru extra practice... should have gone to bed and tackled it again in the morning but I was soooooo close!!!!
