BOM 2012 Complete

Project Description

What are you most proud of? Completing the quilt, I couldn't machine quilt as my sewing machine was just too small, so determined that I would finish it, no matter what, I hand stitched in the ditch through the whole quilt and hand quilted a few of the blocks, it took some time to do, but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, it turned out to be very therapeutic and so rewarding. I think the hardest bit was putting it in the washing machine! I was terrified but after a years worth of working on it, it had become a little grubby, so I bit the bullet, prayed a lot and washed it. The photo is of it on the washing line, and, thank the lord, it washed out well. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Go for it, if you love sewing you'll love quilting.

Thank you Lucy3434, you are so very kind, I am very pleased with the result, it has to be said that it was more luck than judgement with regards the overall colouring.
