Blue Lagoon

What are you most proud of? The hand embroidery. As a rule, I do not sew by hand, unless absolutely forced. And I loved it! There is so much texture and depth with this piece, I really really like it. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't get hung up on making your "stitch bible," the point is to make a finished piece, which only needs a dozen stitches, more or less. Pick the most likely and play with them, then GO!

Thank you. It's fun to listen to and see what the fabric and threads tell you as a project progresses.
