Project Description

What are you most proud of? What am I proud of? I guess I'm happy enough with it to hang on my wall and be able to say "I did that!" I even signed and dated it at the base of her neck. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time...even if it's days between when you work on your project. Better to take your time and have it come out nice, than to rush it. I absolutely love this new craft. It's therapeutic and I don't have to worry about whether it's going to "fit" or not. Other than making a few little dresses for my granddaughters my garment sewing days are just about over.

What you will need

  • Off white cotton
  • batting
  • backing fabric
  • sewing machine
  • quilting foot

Lola Jenkins asked:
This is just one beautiful piece of thread art. I am sure that this piece will inspire others who are taking this class. The colors...the design...and the quilting all add to make this piece an overall success. I am sure that you will be making more thread-art pieces.
