Q&A with Elaine Bristol

MindyM asked:
Love it! It looks like the dimensions are one 4 1/2' square, two 2 1/2 " squares sewn together, and then one 2 1/2" by 4 1/2" rectangle. Am I right? I love the pieced border. It appears to be a mix of the same 2 1/2" by 4 1/2" rectangles and 2 1/2" squares.
Elaine Bristol answered:
they are actually 8 inch squares and 16 x 8 inch rectangles. Also a couple of giant squares. Thanks so much.
SBHelm asked:
This looks very much like a kit I bought at Jo-Ann Fabrics. I have the top done, but haven't finished the quilt yet. I recognized the fabrics as being the same. But I think my blocks are smaller.
Elaine Bristol answered:
I don't remember where I bought this but it could have been Jo-Anns.
