What was your inspiration? This is my entry for the final Project QUILTING Challenge in Season 4 - Hooray for Spring! The quilt started with a 'Daydreams III Flower Bomb Multi Stargazer Fireworks and Iris Paintball Quilt Panel' I cut each flower in half and added a chunk of hand-dyed fabric to make them into four squares of fabric. I then converged the four squares to make it one. I added a fun brown and white printed stripe fabric to create a wonky border on the quilt. It wasn't quite there and when I think of spring I think of walking though my apple orchard, smelling the 20 acres of blossoms and hear the buzzing bees doing their work. I decided I had to do a 'line drawing' of a bee and blossom. I then free motion quilted the quilt and bound it in a stripe-esque Daydream III fabric that blended nicely. That's basically how this quilt came to 'bee'. Created in Poynette, WI Approx dimensions: 33" x 32"
