Project

Beatrice Quilt

Project Description

What are you most proud of? The fact that this is my third quilt and I made it up as I went along. AND it worked perfectly. What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you are looking for a really quick quilt to make for a new born this is great but the quilting did take me a while to finish (stiched in the ditch) given that I wanted to get it finished before the baby came home from hospital.

What you will need

Hi Scominos - I didn't measure the finished quilt but it was a really good size for a cot.

Would this be good for a beginner?
jhof50519 answered:
There a quite a few small squares to make a block but it is all straight sewing and stitch in the ditch quilting so yes I think a beginner could make it Cyndism. Good luck :)

jhof50519 answered:
Oh dear! I can't remember! I am made the pattern up using some information from a book I purchased. We are in the process of moving so everything is packed. Once moved and unpacked I will let you know.
