Project

Baby pixliated Star of David

What are you most proud of? Doing a second smaller quilt with this pattern. Learning the pixliated method. Now I'm going to try a different picture and see how I do. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Definately use small squares It will make it more fun to do.

  • I used the same materials as my friend Cheryl's quilt. It is made for her grand daughter. The only difference is the blue and the size. In Cheryl's quilt I used a light weigt blue denum and 4 inch squares. In this one I used varigated blue silk and used 2 1/2 inch squares. Other wise it is exactly the same materials as her grandmother's quilt. I think it turned out better. The backing material is different from her grandmother's. I used some of the blue silk in the backing and a different pink print.
