The process was easy. It took a long while because I am inexperienced and just learning too. Its a charm pack of welcome baby flannel and flannel on the back with natural batting in the middle. The quilting of the three layers got to be lots of fuzz all around and pretty thick. For the edges I used my decorative stitch on the machine. For each patch I customized the quilting practicing my stitches and put my grandson's initials in free motion . It was very soft . I labeled the back as Gail Kessler taught but used cloth and stitching of the words.
