That after all these years it'as finished!!!!!!!!!!! Until my online quilt guild had a challenge project this year to finish UFO"s I never thought I'd get it finished. The quilting done by Lauren Jackson of Longarming by Lauren, What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be prepared for the long haul. If you don't mind doing the same block in different sizes you probably would be happy following the McCalls pattern to the letter. For me, making repetative blocks albeit differnt sizes, really doesn't peak my interest and keep me motivated, Hense taking me 4 years to make it and the insertion of my own blocks of intrest,

Q&A with JanJo

NanaJeanFL asked:
Bravo JanJo!! What a fantastic quilt. I love the mixed size affect. I really admire your perseverance. Well worth the effort. Makes me want to experiment with using different sized blocks :D
JanJo answered:
It was fun seeing how the sections would all fit together, and the blocks that were made in two seperate sections were a definite challenge....a little holding of the breath there until I knew the 2 sides were going to sew together properly. I would recommend this as a new challenge for sure, I've seen some recent patterns done in sections also. Enjoy the fun ladies and thanks for the kind words.
