Autumn Blues

What are you most proud of? He loved it, and it's inspired me to make additional quilts for our service men and women. I hope every quilter makes one for a service person if they can. Contact a local military base or VA hospital. Talk to local Quilt shops, chances are there is an organization that is collecting quilts for service men and women. They will love you for it. An you'll feel warm for months and months. What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you can't find a pattern, get creative, if you want a copy of my leaf I'll be happy to email it to you. Use a variety of fabrics, you can use lots of colors or a single color family as I did. Mark is in the Air Force, so Air Force Blue was a big part of this quilt for me. I made it large enough that it would wrap around him. So it's close to a queen size quilt. Measure, measure, and measure again then cut. Have fun!
