April House Mug Rug

Project Description

What was your source for this quilting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo April House Mug Rug Link to website or photo www.craftsy.com/pattern/quilting/home-decor/april-house-mug-rug/47831 What are you most proud of? I love adding tiny little details. My family and friends accuse me (sweetly, of course) of being too much of a fuss budget, but that's the way I am. Now if I could just get that hand applique figured out! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be patient with the details. It takes a bit of effort, but the end results are so worth it.

What you will need

  • Quilting cottons
  • fusible web
  • rick-rack
  • ribbon and a button.

Absolutely enchanting! You can't be serious in letting somebody stand a mug on this, can you? After all that beautiful work? Far too beautiful!
K Lee 2Strings answered:
Oh, thank you! The idea of actually using it does make me a bit nervous. As it stands, I'm not sure if I'll use it or not. But then, what good would it be? Oh, decisions, decision. lol
AllThatPatchwor asked:

If I had this jem I would tie a ribbon to it and hang it on a cupboard door handle that didn't get used often or something of that sort for a splash of cuteness. I have a special oven mitt that is hanging up in the kitchen and everyone knows it is off limits, it is just for show!
K Lee 2Strings answered:
Oh, my! You are making me laugh out loud. I'm thrilled that you like my little "house"! And, no, I'm not putting it out to get coffee spilled on it - not yet, anyway.
