Anita's Arrowhead Block

Project Description

What are you most proud of? The fact that it came out as nice as it did considering I'm not a stickler for 1/4" seam allowances! This was my first attempt at this block and I am very happy w the results :) I enjoyed every step of the process. Thank you, Anita, for sharing your method and for your great instructions. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Grab two fabrics that you like/are curious about and dive right in! Starch if you're not a starcher; I'm a recent convert because I love the difference it makes in cutting and sewing :) Enjoy the process ~

What you will need

  • Cotton fabrics
  • Aurufil 50/2 cotton thread
  • Size 12 'sharp' needle
  • Niagara Original starch
  • Dry iron
  • 2" Post-it note

pat959372 asked:
Love the fabric, too. Do you mind sharing the fabric line name?
JaneyQuilts answered:
Thanks, the purple fabric is by Lakehouse (sorry, no more info on selvedge); the other fabric's selvedge doesn't have any info. It was in my stash from several years ago - I'd purchased it as a remnant from JoAnn's. It's a well-made, beautiful fabric IMHO, and I couldn't resist it!
