American Flag quilt

What are you most proud of? I studied the photo and decided it was a simple construction that I could duplicate. I made it for lots less money and had a grand time using up scraps on hand, What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you see a quilt pattern that you like study the photo and work out the pattern. It's a good exercise in math and less costly than buying a pattern that you'll probably only use once.

Q&A with Betsy0

Sandyjj asked:
Is there a pattern for this
Betsy0 answered:
I made it by looking at a photo I saw in a clothing catalog and worked it out. It's made with triangle squares, using scraps of red and off whites for the stripes. The blue field was made of 9 - 4 inch squares the same way.
