A trip to the zoo

What are you most proud of? I am most proud of being able to take this quilt from beginning to end. Even though it is not without fault I am pleased with the overall finished project. Using the "Quilting Big Projects on a Small Machine" class gave me the confidence to complete this project.

Quilting Big Projects on a Small Machine

with Ann Petersen

  • This quilt was made using "Safari" quilt pattern by Wendi
  • with Shiny Happy World. Each block has several pieces put together to create each animal
  • and elements of embroidery for detailing. I used 100% cotton for all of the quilt...using both cotton thread for machine quilting and the invisible thread mentioned in Ann Peterson's class. Instead of a thicker batting
