A Slow Roast

What are you most proud of? As this was approximately my third quilt I am very proud that it aligned relatively well and the free-motion stitching wasn't a complete disaster... What advice would you give someone starting this project? Choose sufficient light value fabrics to allow the kaleidoscope to work effectively - I had to remove one colour-way as it was too dark and ruined the circular effect (time consuming).

Thanks. He was delighted that I had made one for him - he even had a little input into the fabric selection and design - I think he would make an excellent quilter's assistant!
