What was your inspiration? My inspiration, as seems to be usual, was my scraps themselves. I often cut my scraps into squares, triangles and rectangles in sizes that I frequently use. When I accumulate enough pieces in a color range that would make a decent-looking quilt, I go to work making a charity quilt top. One of the sizes I frequently cut my scraps is 9 x 3.5 inches, which makes for an attractive "Bricks" quilt, though I need to add additional scraps as end pieces on alternate rows to have a no-matching-seams top. Shown are just six such quilts I've been able to donate for world relief in the past five or six years. (I'm fortunate that other committee members finish the quilts for me, so all I've had to do is the quilt top. If I had to do it all, I'd never get half this much done.)
