2013 BOM April

Project Description

What are you most proud of? No, it's not my lousy photography! The background is shaded! LOL! I was able to cut the shaded (ombre) fabric in this bundle to make the background for this block. What advice would you give someone starting this project? I sewed the curves very slowly. I made the circle by cutting two 7" diameter circles, sewing them together, cutting a slit & turning inside out.

Your block is so pretty. Great job!

Thanks a lot, mpac5000!

Darns, this is coming together so nicely. I love the fabric that you have chosen. Amy Gibson's method of sewing the circle is the easiest method I have used. I will make my circles that way too.
Darns answered:
Thank you, 4Bird! I agree with you - Amy's method gives me the roundest circles.

Absolutely stunning. Nicely done, great colors!
Darns answered:
Thank you! These are so much my kind of colors - the only thing missing is purple - but not for this quilt!

Gorgeous block! This quilt is growing more stunning by the month!
