2012 BOM Green Batiks

Project Description

What are you most proud of? Most of the quilting and my own block adaptations What advice would you give someone starting this project? I think I will use thread that blends for quilting in the future - the bobbles & wiggles won't show as much. I used a light green thread in the sashing & border and every wiggle shouts at me!

What you will need

  • batik fabrics
  • cotton batting
  • & Aurifil thread for piecing
  • Isacord & Bottomline threads for quilting

I absolutely love your Quilt. The colors and adaptations of patterns are off the chart. I am still "in utero" in quilt making, but I can recognize great talent already. Your work is an inspiration to me. Yards and Yards of Thanks.
Darns answered:
Thanks so much! This was a fun one to do. It is the third of the quilts I made during the 2012 BOM & it seems like the one that inspired me the most to try different things.
