1st Draft

Project Description

What are you most proud of? Actually managing to reduce the size of my block (with help from our teacher Laura!) What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be careful when measuring to figure cutting after adding the 1/4" seam allowance. I found it helpful to highlight one of each shape once the draft was complete. If you discover mistakes as you create your block - update your draft to reflect corrections needed.

What you will need

  • 8 to 1 graph paper
  • see through drafting ruler pencil
  • eraser
  • highlighters
  • cotton fabric & thread
