"Run, Turkey, Run" Thanksgiving Mug Rug

Project Description

What was your source for this quilting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo "Run, Turkey, Run" Thanksgiving Mug Rug Link to website or photo www.craftsy.com/pattern/quilting/home-decor/run-turkey-run-thanksgiving-mug-rug/60950 What are you most proud of? I had all the fabrics I needed, so I used only my scraps in making this one! I absolutely love this piece of autumn orange that I used for the back and the binding. I bought it seven years ago. That was the summer I retried from teaching and I was making aprons. This piece just caught my eye, so i purchased two or three yards of it. Bit by bit it's shrinking down. There's only about 1/4 yard left. and I can't find it anymore. :(

Q&A with K Lee 2Strings

Adorable combination, Awesome idea. Would love an extra long runner for my buffet table (12'). Love how cute the turkey looks. Another great job mom :-)
K Lee 2Strings answered:
Thank you! That's one very long buffet table! You do need to take a sewing class, dear girl! If you can enjoy crochet, you can enjoy quilting. both take the ability to focus and a creative spirit and you have an abundance of each.
Shoestring asked:
Hi 2 strings. Looking fine on this project--that turkey is strutting his stuff. I can't leave without mentioning how you bring life to you subjects--its terrific. I agree--I love the orange fabric binding. Let us know the info printed on the salvage--perhaps we can help you find some, eh?
K Lee 2Strings answered:
Thanks, Shoestring. You always say the sweetest things. As for salvage, it's long gone. Don't worry, though. I have no trouble finding fabrics I love!
