(Finished) Sunburn Quilt

Project Description

What are you most proud of? PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS: Didn't have enough white cotton for the backing, so I added yellow printed cotton squares in the corners. Didn't have enough blue cotton to making binding so I alternated blue, green, fabric strips to make enough. Having to substitute other prints added more life and vibrance to the quilt. I'm glad it turned out that way. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take Angela Walters class Machine Quilting Negative Spaces, and learn how easy it is to turn simple shapes into more complex quilting patterns. This is a great class for quilting on a domestic sewing machine, mid-arm, or long arm machine. You'll love this class and Angela.
