"Autumn Happiness"

Project Description

What are you most proud of? How it turned out. I used steam a seam 2 light to put the leaves on & then did a blanket stitch by hand around each one. I used real leaves for my templates. I also like the colors & how it makes me feel about fall. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Start this by knowing, this is really going to be fun & NO limits. :-)

Q&A with Pamillia

patz in suffolk asked:
That's so realistic, I'd have to fetch a broom to sweep up those leaves! Lovely!
Pamillia answered:
Thank you so much Patricia. :-)
TerryChase asked:
OMG. This is gorgeous.
Pamillia answered:
Thank you Terry for your kind comment. :-)
qulady asked:
it looks great! love the falling leaves, though it does remind me i need to go outside and rake!! thanks for sharing!
Pamillia answered:
I do too, but, it is raining ... so will have to keep quilting. Thank you for your nice comments.
befney asked:
wonderful job, I just want to pick up the quilt to shake off the leaves lol
Pamillia answered:
Thank you so much for the kind & fun comment. :-)
Pam NZ asked:
Lovely, looks warm and snuggly but like everyone else, I want to flick the leaves off LOL. Love the blue border and binding, gives it extra zing! Well done you!
Pamillia answered:
It is always intriguing how each of our moniters show us a little different color. The binding & border is purple like your wonderful flower. Do you all like or not so much the leaves on the quilt? It is okay, because we all really like them. Pam, thank you so very much for your lovely comments. The north wind will blow them away soon enough. :-)
