If you're in a hurry, need something quickly. or simply don't have much time, this is just the pattern for you. And if you're just a beginner, this pattern is a super easy introduction to strip pieced quilting. Choose from four seasonal patterns. An apple, suitable for October or for teachers any time, a heart that can be decorated for breast cancer awareness or dressed up as a valentine, a pumpkin for October and November, and an evergreen tree to symbolize winter and Christmas., Each pattern comes in three different size options. The 5 1/2" is a standard size for a coaster, the 6 1/2" yields an oversized coaster or mini-mug rug, and the 8" size gives a more standard mug rug or hot pad. These make super little gifts and will add cheerful seasonal color to your desktop or table. The pattern includes very detailed instructions and is filled with photos to illustrate every step of the process. There are also templates for each size of each design. When I retired from a lifetime of teaching in 2007, I was worried that I'd quickly get bored. That concern didn't last long at all. I was thrilled to discover that there really is life outside of the classroom. I spend parts of most of my days indulging in my favorite hobbies of quilting and sewing. I started designing patterns as an experiment, and no one was more surprised than I was to find that other people liked my little designs. I'm a teacher at heart, so I do try to write my patterns in such a way that beginning quilters can follow them. I include lots of details, photos, and little informative notes. I make myself easily available to my customers, and I respond to all questions as quickly and as thoroughly as I can. Contact Information: Blog:, Facebook Page:, Email:
