I really enjoy making table runners. They're quick weekend projects that equally feed my love of design and my need to finish projects before starting other projects! When I went on my very first fabric shop hop, I won two fat quarters in a raffle from the very last shop we visited. As my fabric budget was already spent, I didn't pick up any coordinating pieces ... and the popular fabric line sold out before I remembered to look for them! These sat on my shelf for a couple of months until I was looking for a weekend project and decided to sit down and figure out how to make the biggest table topper -- including binding -- possible, using solely these two fat quarters. The finished piece measures 21.5" square.
