My granddaughter Sydney was the inspiration for my new quilt pattern: "The Tea Party". All little girls love a good tea party. This tea party is pink and frilly with an adorable teddy bear and all the delectable things you would find at any good tea party. There are teapots, cups, scrumptious looking cupcakes and a vase full of flowers for the lace covered table. There is a large center block that measures 18 1/2" x 18 1/2". Here you will find a table set for two, you and your favorite bear with a lovely hat and boa around her neck. There are many colorful triangles that surround the center block with a different teapot at each corner block. The overall size of the quilt is 58 inches by 72inches. This would make an adorable quilt for any little girls room. It is not difficult to make but requires a little more time. I made the bear out of fur and real feathers for the boa around the bears neck. Use your imagination to make this a very special quilt for your little one. Thanks for taking a peek at my shop, KinderGarden Designs. I love making quilts, but my real passion is designing them. Designing unique patterns that would appeal to the imagination of a child inspires me. I was in education for 17 years with a degree in early childhood education. I taught kindergarten for 10 of those years, hence the name KinderGarden Designs. I have a beautiful little granddaughter Sydney, who has inspired many of the quilts I've designed. I would love to see a picture of your quilt when your project is complete. It's fun to see the fabric patterns and colors that make the quilt uniquely yours. Vikki
