I grew up in an area where we had both bear and moose, so I often wondered if they would get along. In our quilting world of dreams we can do anything we want so in this quilt the bear and the moose meet in the moonlight and - oh, what was that? - a nuzzle or a kiss perhaps? this is an easy but effective pattern that allows you to use that beautiful sky fabric that you have had in your stash. I like to use a gradient batik such as nuance (available at sew batik) with the gradient you can use the dark end for the sky and the lighter for the moon and it matches beautifully. for the experienced fusible applique quilter you could simply print out the pattern pages that I will email you and have a little art quilt done in a couple of hours. for the beginner there are 5 pages of detailed instructions that will put you on the path to making beautiful fusible applique art quilts in no time at all.
