This pattern is for tea lovers. It is made from recycled material. For the background, I used a pant made of cotton. For the appliques, I used t-shirts, pajamas and nightgowns. As these fabrics do not fray, there is no need to turn the edges. We cut and we sew. Fast and simple. These fabrics used for the appliqus are generally stretchy and therefore I added fusible interfacing on their wrong sides to diminish the stretchy factor. Looking at this mug rug, it may seems difficult to make. But I can assure you that it is in fact simple. My pattern includes detailed step-by-step instructions on how to sew it, with schemas and tips about sewing stretchy fabrics and ironing fusible interfacing. Patterns for the appliques are in full size. The photos are limited to the front page and the last page for easy printing of the pattern.
