I first doodled this block whilst daydreaming in a meeting and I knew then that I had to make it. My heart has curves without the pain of sewing curves ;-). This block would make such a cool centre for a medallion quilt or add a border and turn it into a pretty cushion.... This block looks complicated but is easy to sew and is advanced beginner friendly (I.e. having a few paper pieced projects under your belt). I have a free PDF to make a paper pieced pincushion available in my Craftsy shop if you are new to the technique or need a refresher. This PDF contains: Included: Templates to make a 14" finished Stupid Cupid block. Written instructions with clear diagrams for assembling the block. The templates has clearly labelled sections and includes a 1/4" seam allowance. **Please note that this pattern does NOT include instructions on how to foundation paper piece or fabric cutting instructions**. When printing make sure to select 'actual size' in the printing options and check that the inch scale is correct. If you scale the pattern, make sure to add the seam allowance back on.
