Got a PANEL print ... here's how to showcase it -- and don't let the lattice look run you off!! The pattern can be used with a fun panel print (for the 6 1/2" center of the stars) and 5 other fabrics. The lattice weave makes it look really difficult, but it couldn't be easier -- just a lot of half-square triangles creatively arranged!! It is written with the confident beginning quilter in mind and includes step-by-step instructions and plenty of diagrams to guide you through all the stages of piecing this quilt pattern. .....Especially great for a Halloween panel print or any large print that you could fussy cut for the center of the star blocks..... BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Sewing accurate 1/4" seams Rotary cutting skills SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 72" x 78"

Supplies Needed

  • Great for a PANEL print or a LARGE print that you might want to "fussy cut" for star centers.

Welcome to WING DESIGNS -- quilt patterns designed by Theresa Ward and Sharon Lorfing We started out designing most of our patterns as MYSTERY QUILTS, so they are written with the beginner in mind but have enough intrigue going on that even the advanced quilter finds them fun. You will find the step-by-step instructions VERY EASY to follow and understand with LOTS OF DIAGRAMS. In the cutting out process, we have you bag different steps in different bags -- marked and easy to keep organized. We love taking a simple block and then by playing with the sashings, we create an illusion of MYSTERY in our quilts. We say that many of our quilts have SASHINGS WITH AN ATTITUDE which keeps our students guessing right up to the last hour of class. In our annual 12-hour Mystery Quilt lock-in, we have 50-60 women who come together on that day just to see what new "mystery" pattern we've created now. So whether you are a confident beginner or an advanced quilter, we know you will have fun making one of our original quilt designs.
