Pattern Details

A stack of pumpkins brings Halloween fun to every home. Their faces are based on actual pumpkins that my husband carved a few years ago. Instructions are for fusible web machine appliqué. Although the stems of the pumpkins are not visible in my stacked version of the design, the templates are for the whole pumpkins, you can easily make them as individual blocks (directions for this are NOT included, this is just a suggestion). Full fabric requirements and full size templates and placement guides are included. You will have to tape the full size placement guide together, the pattern is too big to fit on a regular letter page. Overlapping parts are clearly marked. Feel free to email me with any questions you might have, I am happy to help. beatrice@pumpkinpatchbc.com REQUIRED SKILLS Basic quilting skills, fusible web appliqué with your choice of finish - I use a machine blanket stitch but satin stitch or hand blanket stitch will also work. FINISHED SIZE BEFORE QUILTING approx. 12" x 32"

Recommended with this pattern

  • Fabrics, batting, fusible webbing, machine embroidery thread, stabilizer, general sewing supplies. An appliqué pressing sheet is recommended.

Hello, I am Beatrice Rieske from Berlin, Germany, now residing in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. I like all kinds of crafts and have tried everything from knitting and embroidery to sewing apparel. Quilting is my true love, and I was lucky enough to make it my profession by quilting for others on my APQS Millie longarm machine. I have been making up my own patterns for a long time and finally decided to give it a try and publish them. I invite you to visit my blogs, I have one for my business at http://pumpkinpatchbc.com/blog/ and one for my personal sewing adventures at http://pumpkin-patch-by-beatrice.blogspot.ca/.
