Get a head-start on the holidays! This design would be beautiful with any focal fabric having a 6-1/2" x 6-1/2" area for the unpieced blocks. The corner blocks in the picture used pieces that were 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" as their focus with narrow borders added to increase their size to 6-1/2" x 6-1/2". I fell in love with this elegant holiday fabric collection and wanted to show off the lovely golden trees and stars. The top panel was a bonus and just begged to be included! I hope you love making this piece as much as Jazz Cat and I loved designing it! ~ Irene Huffman and the Jazz Cat BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Accurate rotary cutting accurate 1/4" seams Some quilting experience SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 38" x 48" as shown with optional top panel 38" x 38" if optional top panel NOT included

Jazz Cat Designs
Jazz Cat Designs is a small company designing and providing patterns for quilts (irene Huffman and Dawna Sanders), purses (Patricia Minich), and hand embroidery (Courtenay Hughes). Irene Huffman primarily designs quilts, both large and small. She has recently introduced a pattern line called "My Perfect Quilt Size" (MPQS) which gives yardage, cutting, and piecing instructions for quilt designs from table topper, various table and bed runners, through lap sized to king sized quilts . . . all in a single pattern for a single price! She loves simple piecing that looks complex! Dawna Sanders designs lovely, cheerful quilts, often multi-sized (MPQS) and frequently in the modern style. Patricia J. Minich designs inspired purses and bags for all occasions. Her designs are fresh and original and most often contain pockets for carrying all your important "stuff". Her bag, "Courtney" was a Hoffman Challenge finalist in 2009 and was part of the traveling Hoffman show. Courtenay Hughes is an embroidery artist extraordinaire! Her current offerings with Jazz Cat focus on lovely Colorado designs including our state flower, the Columbine!
