PATTERN DETAILS

I love the log cabin block. It is one of the very easiest to make (and I show you the easiest way yet). You can do so many things with it, as these patterns show. The log cabin quilt has been a favorite for many years. Evidence of the log cabin block were found on mummies in Egyptian tombs, Medieval England, and early Greece and Rome. Learn to make the log cabin block quickly and easily from this pattern. The log cabin is a great block for using up scraps. You probably have enough blues, and yellows or reds in your stash now to make these quilts. Buy the pattern now and get started. This pattern assumes you have very little quilting experience and has lots of illustrations to help you make this beautiful wall hanging. There is a bonus pattern of a log cabin heart included. Both wall hangings are 32" x 32". You will need fabric, a sewing machine, and a rotary cutter, cutting mat and see through ruler available at a quilt shop, sewing shop, or department store such as Wal-Mart. I am a registered nurse working in a residential care plus emergency room facility in a very tiny town. You may not know that nursing is a very stressful job. Creation of beautiful things is my outlet for stress relief. I have been a quilter for many years, and I have recently started to crochet. I have always found it more fun to make up my own patterns, and now I share them with you. I have to charge a small amount to fund my habit.
